    Tour of the Indian River Lagoon

    This morning Chris and I did something touristy. We went on a River Cruise a few miles away from my parents’ house. The cruise advertised dolphin and manatee sightings so we wanted to check it out to see some of Florida’s wildlife. The weather was perfect for a boat ride! Here are a few photos from the cruise. And yes, we did see a lot of bottlenose dolphins! And LOTS of birds…mostly pelicans. And an osprey too.     How I Celebrated St. Patty’s Day

    Usually I’m working on Saint Patrick’s Day and after work my friends and I go to McGeary’s to have a drink under their tent. This year Saint Patty’s Day fell on a Saturday and I probably would have went to Albany’s parade or something like that. This year I happened to plan my vacation for my school’s spring break which happened to begin on Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, so it was a bit different this year.     Mulligan’s Beach House

    Friday afternoon my parents and I decided to check out a nearby beach (15-ish minutes away) called Golden Sands. It was a gorgeous day and perfect to visit the ocean. Every time I come to the ocean, I really find myself at peace. I don’t think there is any other place on Earth that is so relaxing! Imagine doing yoga on the beach?
