Run Like a Diva Half Marathon Long Island – Part I
A few months back my college friend Megan found the Run Like a Diva Half Marathon and convinced me and our other friend from college, Krista to run it! (not much convincing needed here). My sister, Julie, also came along to run her very first official 5K the Diva 5K! It was Meg’s second half marathon and Krista’s first! Sunday in the City
After a super busy weekend, I am finally getting back into the groove. This weekend went by in a whirl wind. Friday night I went to a sweet sixteen party for my twin cousins, which was a lot of fun Saturday morning I went to Winter Wonderlark for about an hour with my cousin Liz & Marcie. The weather was gorgeous on Saturday (39 degrees in December, I’ll take it), so I decided a long run would be necessary. After Wonderlark I ran a seven mile run outside in 1:08. Not too shabby! New York, New York – A Foodie’s Dream – Part 2
Okay, since I’m writing this post two months after my NYC trip which I took in April so I’m going to do my best to re-cap the rest of the trip. Here we go! Tuesday Tuesday morning we wanted to some shopping. Liz had a meeting with her agent, so we went to a Starbucks around the corner for breakfast. I got one of their spinach and feta egg white wraps, which was a perfect healthy breakfast! We sat inside to warm up and get away from the rain.
