    Hangover Half Marathon

    Despite drinking wine and eating desserts at the Old English Pub on New Year’s Eve (& staying up until 2AM!) I still had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to run a good race on New Year’s Day! Every year the Hudson Mohawk Road Runners Club puts on the Winter Series, a series of races that are only $5 to run in. I had decided pretty early that I wanted to run this race to start 2012 off right. Not because its a good race, because the course is horribly boring (and hideous) and there is no crowd support to be found. Its pretty much 13.1…

    Impromtu Half Marathon

    It was October 2nd and my fall half marathon was over already. I saw tweets on twitter the following weekends about races and was a bit sad mine race had already come and gone. I had plans to run a half marathon trail race but decided to run the 6 miler instead since I just don’t feel like running for that long on the trails… Enter the Fall Foliage Half Marathon in Rhinebeck! Yesterday on a whim I registered. I’m not aiming to PR, just hopefully have another awesome race. Another 13.1 in 2011, I don’t mind if I do. 🙂

    Half Marathon Training Reflection

    I have been inspired! Katie from Legally Fit wrote a post the other day reflecting on her half marathon training, and she inspired me to sort of do the same! We are actually running the same one!
