Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown
Saturday (after running 14 miles) I had the pleasure to judge The Ice Cream Sandwich Throwdown – Saratoga vs. Albany. Daniel B & the Saratoga Idiots had put together this amazing tour of ice cream sandwiches in the Capital Region, and we had to find out who had the best– Saratoga or Albany. I, of course, was Team Albany! Chris tagged along to be a provisional judge, also so I had someone to split the ice cream sandwiches with. Hop Harvest Party at City Beer Hall
The other night Chris and I went to the City Beer Hall to check out the Hop Harvest Party they had going on. Give me fall things and beer related things and I’m happy but when the two combined–it was awesome! It was my second time at the City Beer Hall, which just opened up this summer. The bar’s thing is a free flatbread pizza with every pint. And the pizza is GOOD! Anyway, Hop Harvest seemed cool. The food and beer was all local! Chris and I each got a beer at the bar.
