    I cannot believe that there are only four days until Christmas. For some reason I feel like the holiday season has lasted forever (considering I heard Christmas music at the mall on November 1!) After my office holiday party I felt like Christmas had already come and gone-but actually didn’t happen yet.     Brunch at Cafe Madison

    After Saturday night’s cookie swap, I was craving a really good workout, so headed to the gym yesterday morning! I was planning on testing out my leg on the treadmill, and if it was hurting I would stick to the arc trainer. I started running on the treadmill–surprise, no leg pain! I was actually ready for it to start hurting. It felt stiff, but no sharp twinge of pain, so I kept going. The best part was I felt incredible. I don’t know if it was the copious amount of sugar I consumed on Saturday, but I ran six miles on the treadmill in 57 minutes. And I felt great!…

    CDNY Eat Drink Blog Cookie Swap

    Just when I think I can’t eat any more cookies, I make six dozen Chocolate Macroon Bars and head to a cookie swap with other local bloggers hosted by Heather. It was amazing. (my guiltless white bean guacamole) My plate Mac & cheese Winter salad Polenta casserole Fruit salad and pumpkin soup (unpictured) The goods (CDNY cookies made by Heather!)
