    First Time Foam Rolling

So, my blog was down all of today, so I’m just getting around to posting something! Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you but my day went by sooo slow. It feels great to be home and relaxing a little bit. So, here is my breakfast from yesterday, since it was really tasty. More of Van’s mini waffles! This time, with blueberries + strawberries! Yum. A nice fresh mixed berry breakfast. I love these waffles. So, disaster struck at the gym last night. I was all ready to run my five mile tempo run. I get to the gym and while changing into my gym clothes, my sportsbra strap…

    Two Words: Peach Pie

Okay, okay, I know yesterday I said I wouldn’t be indulging as often as I would like, but when your mom bakes you a peach pie just because you said the day before that you always wanted to try it, you must eat a slice, you must!   Yes, its true. I’ve never eaten a real slice of home-made peach pie before, until tonight. And I think I may have died and gone to heaven, it was that good. Thanks mom, for baking peach pie for me. I love you! 🙂 Anyway….moving on. I tried a new breakfast cereal today. Love love love! It was so good. I mixed in a…

    Getting Motivated!

Throughout my weight-loss journey, many people have asked me how I get and stay motivated to exercise. It wasn’t so easy for me at first, but now exercising has just become part of my daily routine! I probably work out 5-6 times  a week, even if it’s just going for a short walk to get myself moving. You’ll feel better about yourself and you’re burning calories in the process. As long as you’re…

Grilled Zucchini and Green Pepper Sandwich

Good evening everyone. I just made the most delicious and satisfying dinner! I can’t wait to tell you guys about it, but I’m going to tell you about my breakfast first. This morning I tried something new with my old smoothie routine. I added OATS to my smoothie! Some of you may be asking WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DO THAT? Well, the answer is because it makes the smoothie thicker, and keeps you full for longer! This is the truth! I have a problem with my breakfasts holding me over until lunch (they usually don’t, no matter what I eat), and this trick actually worked! I was full until…

    My First Body Pump Experience

After reading numerous blogs raving about Body Pump, I’ve been kind of sad that my gym doesn’t have it. It doesn’t have classes at all, actually, since it’s pretty must just a bare bones gym. But after talking to Becca on twitter for the past couple of days, she invited me to be a guest at her gym and attend a Body Pump class with her last night!!! I was also super excited to meet her for the first time. She’s so cute and nice and I had such a good time chatting with her! So we got to the gym and walked into the room where the classes are…
