Half Marathon #9

Today I signed up for half marathon #9!
I can check Vermont off my list of states where I’ve ran races because I signed up for the Maple Leaf Half Marathon in Manchester! (Other states include: Washington DC (does that one count?), Florida, Pennsylvania and New York, obviously.)

My marathon training plan actually calls for an actual half marathon the weekend of Maple Leaf Half, so I searched for a local race and this one popped up, which is only an 1.5 hour drive from Albany. I figured if I leave early enough (race starts at 9AM) I can get there with time to spare for parking, packet pickup, etc.
I’m excited. I haven’t ran a half marathon since the beginning of May. I know I won’t PR since I haven’t been training for speed, but it will be nice to race that distance again. Hopefully the weather will be nice and fall-ish.
