After taking my second ever Body Pump class with Courtney and Melissa yesterday, I am extremely sore today. My legs are bit sore but not as bad as my chest and arms. I had been putting it off for a while because I had a few races, but now I’m in clear for a while.
This makes me realize that my upper body is extremely out of shape. However, my legs are like steel. I can run a half marathon but I can hardly do 10 modified push ups. My upper body is very flabby! This is going to change!

Now I have access to a Body Pump class as often as I’d like. I’m going to challenge myself because I want to tone and strengthen my upper body! Also I think it will help me athletically.
I’m going to go to Body Pump 2x a week for the next six weeks and then I’m going to analyze my results. (And yes, I’m relying on YOU Courtney and Melissa to motivate me to go!)
