First Bike Ride of the Season
May 22nd, 2011 | Posted by Jen in Biking, Fitness, Food -
Yesterday was a glorious day for a bike ride!!! I got my bike out of the shed to ride an 8.0 mile route near my parents house. It was lovely and so peaceful.

After my bike ride I headed back to my place to make some dinner. It included some of the whole wheat bread I picked up at the mini farmer’s market with some homemade hummus, and a big salad.

I also finally received the photobook I won from a shutterfly giveaway on Courtney’s blog!
I made a race book, complete with my race bibs. I got the idea from Meals & Miles.

I love it! I think its a great way to keep track of my race memories.

I love the photobook, it looks so cool
I don’t have a bike anymore, but the roads by your parents house are perfect for bike riding or running, so pretty too!

I have been wanting to do something like that too – or I want to get a big frame and frame all my race bibs together. I can’t decide!
I did buy 2 inexpensive t-shirt frames and framed my 2 1/2 marathon shirts – they are on the wall of my bedroom.
I wish I had a bike – I would live to bike ride for exercise!
