Chocolate Cherry Oatalicious Smoothie

Good morning! This morning I started my day off right with a delicious smoothie! And I think this one might be one of the best I’ve made yet so I just had to share it. I know you’re probably thinking its still too cold for smoothies but the more I drink them the more I can pretend its warm outside. :-) One can dream, right? This time I threw some oats into my smoothie so it makes it a bit more thicker and more satisfying. It really works, and it adds healthy fiber to your drink as well. And for some reason this one was really chocolately!

Chocolate Cherry Oatalicious Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unsweetened plain almond milk (or soy, rice, hemp, etc.)
  • 1 scoop of chocolate brown rice protein (or whatever chocolate protein powder you like)
  • 1/2 tsp of maca powder
  • handful of frozen organic sweet cherries
  • 1/4 cup of rolled oats

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients in blender and mix on high until all blended!

2. Enjoy!

Hope everyone is having a great week. I’m off to Philadelphia with Chris tomorrow and I’m really excited! I have never been there before so I’m looking forward to exploring a new city.
