Two Words: Peach Pie

Okay, okay, I know yesterday I said I wouldn’t be indulging as often as I would like, but when your mom bakes you a peach pie just because you said the day before that you always wanted to try it, you must eat a slice, you must!  

Yes, its true. I’ve never eaten a real slice of home-made peach pie before, until tonight. And I think I may have died and gone to heaven, it was that good. Thanks mom, for baking peach pie for me. I love you!

Anyway….moving on.

I tried a new breakfast cereal today.

Love love love! It was so good. I mixed in a little bit of Special K Granola, with a dab of TJ’s Sunflower Seed Butter (also, love) for a delicious and filling breakfast.

Lunch was healthy too.

I’ve never tried black bean soup before. Verdict? Pretty tasty. I’d buy it again. It was good with a few crackers crumbled in. And, taking photos of black bean soup is not very pretty, I apologize! I will spare you. Along with my soup I had an apple, some fresh blackberries, and a Clif Z Bar.

I was feeling stressed after work for some reason, so I went to the gym to let off some steam. I had cross-training on my mind, so I hopped on the bike, set it to “Random Hill” and biked 10 miles in 30 minutes. Not too shabby! I also did three weight machines with three sets of reps on each (I told myself I’d do five machines, but that didn’t happen, maybe next time.)

Then I came home to the peach pie, and quickly decided to have a grilled salmon salad for dinner, just so I could eat a piece. The salad was pretty flavorful actually. I just added some feta and raspberry balsamic.

And then I ate that slice of peach pie and now I’m a happy camper. Life is good.
