Today I finally got to go for a trail run! I was so happy! But I’ll get to that in a little bit…
First, breakfast!
I made another banana scramble.

This one was pretty tasty, I must say. I think each one I’ve made so far has tasted different. But all pretty good!
After breakfast I snaked on some random things until my trail run at noon. Sue, Brendan and I drove to Thacher Park. They have miles and miles of trails for hiking, biking, and even skiing. I actually forgot my GPS watch, and my camera, so I didn’t get to take any photos of the trails.
We ran up one of the trails and decided to run for 30 minutes, that way we estimated we would run about 3 miles. We got lost on the trail a couple of times, since all the trail colors seem to run into one another, but eventually we found our way back.
One thing I wasn’t used to: SO MANY HILLS! Ahhh! I forgot how hilly the trails are at Thacher. It was so fun, I felt so great and in tune with nature. I really enjoyed it. I definitely want to run more trails this summer. Especially at Thacher, since it’s one of my favorite parks.
Since I didn’t take any trail photos, I will leave you with some other photos I’ve taken at Thacher in the past.

That banana scramble sounds good.
I’ve hiked (not run) all over Thacher, all different seasons of the year. Beautiful
Beautiful photos, Jen!
How do you make this Banna Scramble? It looks awesome!
I got the recipe here, from Ashley at the Edible Perspective.
I love Thatcher! I haven’t gone running there yet, though I should. I want to run the squirrely six there in October! Btw, when is the next meetup? I’m assuming it got moved from today, lol.
I want to do that race too! Its on Halloween, right? sounds like so much fun.
I don’t think we ever decided on a date for the meetup this week, haha.
